The unusual comparison of a journalist in the Rinaldi-Peterson controversy

After the strong controversy that broke out on social networks, Franco Rinaldi had to renounce his candidacy for Buenos Aires legislator for the space of Jorge Macri. Several clippings of a streaming that he had done some time ago came to light: it had a strong xenophobic and homophobic content.

He participated in the discussions that proliferated on networks the couple of the pre-candidate for Buenos Aires head of government, Martín Lousteauthe internal rival of Jorge Macri. Carla Peterson he wrote a long message in which he repudiated Rinaldi’s sayings. “It is not cancellation. Nor is it a performance. It’s hate and discrimination. It is not an artistic fact or freedom of expression. Apologies are not enough,” suggested the actress.

The criticism of Peterson was so great that he ended up deleting his opinion and making his account private, so as not to continue receiving negative repercussions. The actress had fallen into the crack. While Lousteau defended her, others chose to question her.

But no one went as far as the journalist Mariano Obarrio, who used a strange argument: he asked for explanations for his role in a brand new film which is shown on Prime Video. To the reflection that Lousteau had made, he replied: “With respect, Martín, the Franco Rinaldi thing is indefensible. But you can also criticize Carla Peterson, whose role in Blondi is a woman who brags about leaving family, husband and children, as female ‘liberation’, and goes to a tribe of delusional“, wrote. And he concluded: “Horrible message, does she think so?”

Because of his confusion between reality and fiction, Obarrio was also hit by a storm of criticism. Dolores Fonzi, full of irony, wrote to the journalist: “You saw Blondi, thank you!”. And he added: “I don’t know if it’s as good as your tale of the embryo architect but I’m glad it took you long enough not to realize it’s just a movie. I’m sorry to disappoint you. Thanks the same”.
