An unprecedented campaign by the food delivery service Foodora has congested Hesburgers. Foodora started a campaign where all Hesburger products are sold at a 50 percent discount to Foodora pro members.

The cheap hamburgers have gotten customers moving, and long order lines have formed in some restaurants.

In the Jodel messaging service, the campaign has caused outrage. The discussants who registered as Hesburger employees have criticized their employer for not preparing for the congestion by increasing the number of employees.

– The beginning of the campaign has exceeded our commercial expectations in some of our restaurants, and that’s why we aim to add staff to work shifts where there is a need. Foodora’s campaign is scheduled to last until the end of February.
