In the spring of 2010, an American couple and parents of three sons Michael and Kristine Barnett adopted a 6-year-old girl child. The short Natalia was said to have been born in Ukraine, arrived in the United States and had already been rejected by her previous adoptive family.
The Barnetts’ family dream soon turned into a nightmare. The strange features revealed about Natalia made Michael and Kristine suspect that the person claimed to be a child was actually an adult.
In the first season of the documentary series released in 2023, Michael Barnett told his own version of the story. He said Natalia hid knives in her room and repeatedly threatened to kill her parents. Also family Jacob– the boy said that he was afraid of Natalia.
The Barnetts ended up legally changing Natalia’s age from 8 to 22. They got the girl her own apartment and moved to Canada themselves.
The opening episode of the second production season will now premiere on Finnish television. In that, Natalia herself gets to speak. He asserts that he was a child when he was rejected by the Barnetts.

It shows that Natalia Grace is about 22 years old at the time of filming. He was less than 10 years old when the Barnetts accused him of attempted murder.

After being abandoned by the Barnetts, Natalia moved to a new family and lived a happy childhood. The new parents and siblings say they have never had to fear Natalia.
