An attacker who starred Borussia Dortmund Erling Hålandin the move to Premier League giant Manchester City for next season is virtually certain.
The Athletic editor David Ornstein according to Norwegian trade is confirmed and it will be officially announced this week.
21-year-old Håland has been one of the best players in Europe in recent seasons. In the German Bundesliga, a Norwegian star has been banging at a brisk pace.
This season Håland have scored as many as 28 goals in 29 matches in Dortmund. Throughout Dortmund’s career, 85 goals have been scored in 88 matches.
Håland moved to Dortmund from the Austrian RB Salzburg in January 2020.
Håland’s contract with Dortmund will continue until 2024, so City will have to pay a wild transfer for the attacker. The redemption clause in the Håland agreement is worth EUR 75 million.
The attacker, born in 2000, returns almost to his roots, as his father Alf-Inge Håland represented the City from 2000 to 2003.
