The program agency Master Events has published a press release on the tour’s website. The organizers will investigate the situation as best they can, so that the concerts do not have to be canceled.
– The Heavy Christmas tour has found its way into the hearts of Finns and established its place as part of the Christmas waiting of thousands of heavy music lovers. We will do everything we can to implement the most popular Christmas tour in Finland, CEO of Master Events Kari Penttinen states in the announcement.
The tour was supposed to start on November 18 in Kokkola. The last tour venue is Nokia Arena in Tampere on December 18.
What happened?
Event organizer RH Entertainment filed for bankruptcy on November 10. CEO of the company Riki Huhtala said in the announcement that the operation could not be continued with the current financing model.
– The company restructuring involved things that we could not foresee. We had to pay practically all of our invoices in advance both during the application phase and after the company restructuring procedure started. At the same time, there were considerable offsets against future cash batches, which quickly and completely choked the cash flow, CEO Riki Huhtala stated.
According to RH Entertainment, all events and possible cancellations will be announced separately.
– Making this decision has been very heavy and difficult. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and inconvenience this has caused to our customers, staff, clients and partners.
