Helsingin Sanomat published Piipari’s death notice in the Sunday paper.
The radio host and program manager who passed away unexpectedly in April Petra Piiparin, 49, the death notice was published in Sunday’s Helsingin Sanomat. Ilta-Sanomat was the first to report on the matter.
According to the death notice, Piipari was blessed in the Vihti church and was laid next to his beloved grandmother in the Vihti cemetery. The sad announcement is accompanied by a touching text from loved ones.
– Petra is not dead, she will always live in our hearts, the obituary reads.
Piipari died in the spring as a result of a sudden attack of illness, which he had in the middle of the workday. He was the program manager of the Hitmix and Loop channels and ran the popular Dallaspullaa blog. Before that, the radio personality’s voice was heard on the Radio City channel.
Piipari was missed, among other things, by his three children, whose names are the first to be read in the death notice.
The radio host and manager once dated Hjallis Harkimo. They divorced in 2014. At the turn of the millennium, Piipari was engaged to a TV producer Petteri Ahomaan with, but the couple broke up before the wedding.
