Player of the Swedish club Malmö FF Lasse Nielsen experienced a painful injury two weeks ago.

Nielsen, 35, ran into his teammate Hugo Bolin with, causing his testicle to be pressed against Bolin’s hip.

Nielsen went to the emergency room when she realized that the pain just continued.

– The pain did not disappear. If the ball hits there, the pain goes away in four or five minutes.

– I thought they would call it an eruption and I could return to the field after a few days. But there was a small tear in his testicle that had to be stitched up, he continued.

The quilting was done the same evening, after which Nielsen had to take a week off at home.

Still, the pain was intense.

– Every time I got up from the couch, I felt as if I had been stabbed in the stomach, he described.

For the first time since the incident, Nielsen was able to practice a little physics on Wednesday of last week and was in team training on Friday.

Nielsen has laughed about what happened with his teammates.

Nielsen has played in Malmö since 2017. Before that, he represented Gent, who play in the Belgian premier league. In his career, he has also played for the Dutch NEC Nijmegen and the Danish Aalborg BK, or more familiarly, AaB.
