At the age of 93, one of the emblematic women of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, Hebe de Bonafini. The vice president confirmed it first on her social networks and then her family through a letter. She had been hospitalized for a few days at the Italian Hospital of La Plata.
If something stood out to Hebe in her life, it was the controversial phrases that had already become a registered trademark. Being an icon of civil resistance against the last dictatorship he has had, throughout these 39 years of democracy he has accumulated endless spicy and controversial phrases that marked a position, from his opposition to the conformation of the National Commission for the Disappearance of Persons (CONADEP) -to which Hebe wanted it to be managed by the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo-, until her rejection of democratic principles when they did not yield the results she wanted.
