Jukka Hildén, 41, known from the Duudsons, and his wife, Chachi, 26, have now been parents of four children for a year. They have two children in common, born in 2019 Sophia and Amélie, born in 2021. In addition, the new family includes Juka’s child from his previous union.

The children of the couple have already learned four languages. Toddler Sophia speaks mixed English, Finnish, Spanish and Swedish. Chachi and Jukka use English with each other. Finnish and Spanish are their mother tongues. Sophia learned Sweden by chance.

– It’s really cool. Our little toddler has started talking more. He mixes English, Finnish, Spanish and Swedish.

– He mixes languages, but he can also combine that the car has many different meanings in different languages. He understands that a car is a car, but also a car and a bil. That’s great, Jukka says.

– The children have not had any difficulties with communication. All children speak these languages. Even Swedish, about which I don’t understand anything, Jukka laughs.

– Sophia is in Swedish and Finnish kindergartens. We didn’t plan it in any way, but it just happened. They had a place and we thought well why not, Chachi adds.

Chachi says life with four children is full of life.

– I don’t even know what my everyday life would be like without sound. Having a lot of kids and animals brings so much joy to life, Chachi says.

– I would add a fifth child. Me myself, Jukka adds with a laugh.

Chachi and Jukka have not wanted to plan for the future too much. For example, they have not yet decided whether to raise their children in Finland or abroad. They would see themselves living in Finland but also abroad. Now, however, they have a good time in Espoo.

Chachi is from the United States and lived in Los Angeles before moving to Finland. At the beginning of the corona pandemic, the couple first moved to Ähtäri, from where they moved to Espoo a little later. Espoo has become a home for the couple, but Chachi thinks there are sides in both places. He likes the closeness of nature to Ähtäri, but he also enjoys the seascapes and central location of Espoo.

Jukka, who comes from Ostrobothnia, also enjoys Espoo. Ostrobothnia always has a place in his heart, but he enjoys the city and rejoices that the family can travel to Ostrobothnia with his parents.

– I love Espoo and the Gulf of Espoo. We have four children and dogs that can run free.
