Victor Berglund23, moves to Oulun Kärppi on a two-year contract.

Berglund played this season in HIFK, which he moved to in December. The Swedish defender scored 2+18 in 29 regular season matches.

In ten playoff games, Berglund collected four assists.

The Boston Bruins booked the defender to the NHL in the seventh round in 2017. The doors to the NHL did not open despite the rookie contract, but Berglund played 55 games in the AHL and three games in the ECHL.

– Kärpät is a big club that always strives to be at the top of the league. I want to be a part of it, and I believe I will fit in well, because I myself am a son of the north, Berglund said in the press release.

HIFK’s season ended in fourth place. The sky of the flies was broken in the first round of the playoffs.
