The former number one woman in the world tennis rankings Caroline Wozniacki is returning to the playing fields. The 32-year-old woman has been on the sidelines for the past three years.
Wozniacki’s return can already be seen at the beginning of August in Montreal. After that, the Dane plans to participate in the US Open, where he received a wild card.
Wozniacki also wants to play at the Paris Olympics in 2024.
During the three-year hiatus, Wozniacki became a mother. She now has a two-year-old daughter Olivia and born in October James-son.
– I still have goals that I want to achieve. I want to show my children that dreams can be achieved regardless of age or role, Wozniacki said on Instagram.
The superstar was last seen in real action at the Australian Open in 2020.
Wozniacki has earned more than 35 million dollars in prize money in her career.
