A National Women’s Volleyball Team, which won the championship by beating China 3-1 in the final of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League, returned home.
The national team team, which was greeted with enthusiasm after getting off the plane at Istanbul Airport, made statements to the press.
Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF), thanked everyone who contributed and said, “Everyone has contributed to this success. All of our players who sweat on the field have contributed. Our clubs have made a serious contribution. We have brought such a championship to the country for the first time. We achieved this success for the first time,” he said.
