Iltalehti reported today, February 24, how the subtitles of the wrong program had slipped into the broadcast of Pikku Kakkonen in the morning. In the morning children’s program, an animation series sending name day greetings is broadcast daily, in which Touho, molded by Tuula Pukkila, makes happy surprises for the heroes of the day.

Now the program section that sent name day greetings to Mati and Matias got strange texts over it. At the same time, Touho made a giant ice cream puff when a text appeared on the screen.

– The filling still smokes the other joint so you could sleep.

Channel manager of Ylen TV2 Sasha Ikonen tells Iltalehti that the matter has been resolved throughout the morning in Yle’s broadcast unit. Ikonen continues that there are no incorrect subtitles in the recording of the outgoing program or in the version published in Areena.

– It is unclear why the subtitles in question have been in a receiver and it could very well be a local technical fault. It is certain that the error was not visible in all receivers, says Ikonen.

The subtitles themselves came from the last program of the previous evening on TV2, which was broadcast on the same channel at midnight. It was a documentary about Finns suffering from substance abuse problems Drug addiction.

– It was about the last subtitle page of the program, Ikonen explains the sentence that ended up in the morning broadcast.
