Erling Haaland will wear number 9 at English champions Manchester City, just like he did at Borussia Dortmund. This was announced by the top Premier League club on Saturday. The exceptional Norwegian striker also published a video on Twitter in which he wrote a nine on his jersey. “Excited to get this going,” the 21-year-old wrote.
Haaland, who signed a five-year contract in Manchester until June 30, 2027, takes over the number from Brazil international Gabriel Jesus, who has moved to league rivals Arsenal.
