Styles has taken hits before. He was hit by an object while performing at a Skittles concert in Los Angeles last year and a chicken basket was thrown at the artist in New York. Styles also got a bouquet of flowers in his face at a London gig earlier in June.

Recently, several artists have had to suffer from a phenomenon where the audience throws objects on stage and deliberately tries to hit the performers. Among other things Drake, Bebe Rexha and Lil Nas X have been hit by objects flying onto the stage.
Rexha has possibly received the most serious injury when a phone is thrown at her from the audience. The phone hit near the eye. After the hit, the artist fell on the stage. A 27-year-old man was later arrested.
Styles started his career in the band One Direction and has gained huge popularity later in his solo career. Styles has won three Grammy Awards. The most famous of his solo hits are, for example As It Was, Watermelon Sugar and Adore You.
