Even the greatest legends need a little break sometimes… The Rolling Stones took it easy on Tuesday, mostly staying at the hotel. Breather before their concert on Wednesday in the Waldbühne.
The performance is the conclusion of their European tour “Sixty” (started on June 1st in Madrid). The tickets – all sold out, of course. And that despite proud prices from 192.65 to 560.65 euros!
The Stones landed in Berlin on Monday evening, then drove to the Adlon. Apparently even a luxury hotel cannot fulfill every wish: guitarist Ron Wood (75) prefers to dine with his family in the Italian “Viale dei Tigli” on Behrenstrasse.
On Tuesday, Wood indulged in a bit of nostalgia and posted a photo of his 2014 visit to Berlin on Instagram – with Mick Jagger on the terrace of the Adlon. This time hundreds of fans besieged the hotel.
In the evening, he felt an appetite for Italian cuisine again, and he and his wife Sally (44) were driven to the “Centrale” osteria on Bleibtreustrasse.
After his arrival in Berlin, Mick Jagger only appeared several times at the window. Instead of sightseeing, fitness was probably on his agenda. Jagger trains regularly. Otherwise he would hardly be able to sing at the age of 79, run across the stage and then chat relaxedly with his audience.
In addition, the rock legend relies on healthy nutrition. Whole grains, legumes, fruit, chicken and fish are on the menu as often as possible. And: After the heart surgery in 2019, Jagger has a cardiologist with him on the tour…
After the concert in the Waldbühne, the three of them can take it easy – at least until the next tour.
