In this regard, the State Duma finally adopted a government bill on indexing the pensions of military pensioners by 8.6% from January 1, 2022.
First Deputy Minister of Finance Leonid Gornin noted that the average seniority pension for military pensioners will be 33,300 rubles in 2022. per month.
Thus, the average military pension will increase in real terms by 2,800 rubles.
The State Duma unanimously adopted the bill in the first reading and in general, said Andrei Kartapolov, head of the Duma Defense Committee.
