State Department Spokesperson Price: US did not specify a specific timeframe for Russia’s invasion

The United States did not indicate the specific timing of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, declared State Department spokesman Ned Price at a briefing.

One of the journalists mentioned that the day of the invasion was scheduled for February 16, but it did not take place, and wondered if this meant that the intelligence was incorrect.

Price replied in the negative. “First of all, I don’t think you have heard us from any podium point to a specific day of the invasion,” he said.

According to him, the United States only said that Russia has the ability to launch an attack at any moment. The fact that this did not happen does not mean that intelligence has incorrect information, the representative of the State Department said.
