Star of Bridgerton Ruby Barker says on his Instagram he is taking a break from acting because of his mental health.
He says he suffered from mental health problems at the time of filming the already popular Bridgerton series.
– I’m in the hospital and I’ll be home soon. Then I hope I can go on with my life, he says in the video.
Barker says he suffered from trauma and anger that burdened the actor too much. He describes the difficult feelings as being the support of the whole world on his own back.
– Now I have a diagnosis. I want to get better and I will get better too, he adds.

– Mental Health Week is every week for me. I haven’t been honest with my followers and it’s time to fix it: I’ve suffered from mental health problems since Bridgerton, that’s the truth. Thanks to everyone who has supported me. Because of your love, I will stand up.
However, the ache, according to the actress, is not due to Bridgerton’s production and filming.
– Acting in a series means so much to me. I never thought I would be involved in a drama series in a role similar to that of Marina.
According to Netflix, the first season of Bridgerton was viewed by an estimated 63 million households. The hit series is based on the author Julia Quinnin to successful novels about the elite and social circles of 19th century Britain. The next Downton Abbey from the series, which is also a popular British costume drama, has been featured.
