The board of directors of The Coca-Cola Company has announced the election of Manuel Arroyo as executive vice president of the American companyas of January 1, 2024, while the Spanish executive will continue to perform his duties as global marketing directora position he has held since January 2020.
The Spanish executive is responsible for global category teams; integrated marketing experience, including media, digital marketing, design, marketing assets, human insights and marketing performance; operations and marketing capabilities; and the marketing transformation office, the company has indicated.

Arroyo, which was previously president of the soft drink maker’s Asia-Pacific divisionbecame global marketing director of The Coca-Cola Company in January 2020, which he joined in 1995.
The executive is a member of the board of directors of Coca-Cola EuroPacific Partners and has served on the boards of Coca-Cola Andina (Chile), ThainamThip (Thailand) and Coca-Cola COFCO (China).
