The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) headed by its president Luis Rubialeshas asked for “maximum respect” and transferred “courage to the Ukrainian Football Federation”, asking for the end of the war after the attack by Russia, whom he reminds that “violence is never the way”.

The Spanish Federation changed its logo to include the symbol of peace in it and launched a label (‘hashtag’) on social networks, #ElFútbolPorlaPaz, to start a chain against the war after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“Our maximum support and encouragement to the Ukrainian Football Federation. Our strong condemnation of this war. Violence is never the way,” says the RFEF in its publication.

The RFEF has already requested the collaboration of the entire Spanish football family to collaborate with all those affected by the war that has been going on since Thursday in Ukraine, and is working “actively with government and sports entities” to help with the evacuation.
