After more than a month of guessing and about 445 wrong answers, Maarten and Dorothee finally got the right answer to the following question on Friday morning: What do you think is ‘The Sound’? Listener Delilah turned out to be right. According to her, ‘The Sound’ was the opening of a cardboard egg carton. Delilah also had a clear explanation for the two tips. “Eggplant in English is egg plant”, it sounds, among other things. “And it lowers blood pressure hence the blood pressure monitor.”
Though she was reasonably confident, Delilah could hardly believe the good news herself. “You are kidding me. I’m not good at it,” it sounded emotionally. Delilah has to share some of the money with her boyfriend’s brother, because he was the first to come up with the idea. “He shared it with my friend. Afterwards we tested it at home and it was identical,” said Delilah. Delilah and her boyfriend want to use the rest of the money to buy a house.
