The sound of nature, Chiara Luzzana records it for Dolomia

hto harvest the imperceptible sound of a rose garden, Clare Luzzana. He recorded the “melodious acoustic characteristics” that “each plant emanates in its life”. And she was thus able to deliver to Dolomia the “music” of nature. And in particular of the Rosa Prima, which is a special and very precious ingredient for the phytocosmetic brand.

The power of Nature

The sound of nature. Chiara Luzzana recorded it for Dolomia

Here the very particular is jealously guarded Rose Before: ancient variety discovered by the botanists of the phytocosmetic and makeup brand Dolomia, and used, due to its unique virtues, in its Rose Therapy absolute anti-aging line.

The tools with which to “play” the rose garden stolen from seismologists and alchemists

«To allow the rose to express itself with its voice, with its sound», Luzzana has recovered some components used in seismology for the study of seismic vibrations and built «a geophone capable of capturing the movements of this wonderful plant in the ground. In this way, and with others tools worthy of an alchemistI was able to record and then compose the melody of the Rosa Prima, so far only admired».

Its petals, caressed with particular wooden fringes, have become the flute of the melody created by the composer. The thorns, strong and mighty, played with a plectrum, have become the bass carrier of the soundtrack. Furthermore, the stem, embraced by a particular microphone, produced an imperceptible hiss during the sunset of the Roseto di Seravella, similar to the sound we can hear by caressing the skin. But also the little buds della Rosa were recorded with a specially designed tiny microphone.

Telling the soul of Rosa Prima, a cosmetic ingredient

The result is above. The idea, for Dolomia, was to offer a multisensory experience, thus narrating the “soul of the Rosa Prima”, bypassing words and explanations. Because, if we often give roses a symbolic value of delicacy, theto them it is instead a story of tenacity: and the Rose Therapy soundtrack created by Chiara Luzzana in fact resonates beyond time and beyond natural and predictable beauty.
