Presenter Koen Bugter starts the Summer tour in Uitdam, on the border of the Amsterdam and Zaanstreek-Waterland regions. It runs counterclockwise along the borders of our region to its terminus Pampus in het Gooi.
Koen has a special photographer with him, namely former BZN bassist Jan Tuyp. He knows everything about the region and can’t get enough of the unique style of the Waterland. Regional reporter Mischa Korzec tells Koen about the IJsselmeer and a special project in Zaandam. Former Ten Sharp frontman Marcel Kapteijn, who nowadays works as a postman in Purmerend, will play new work by his band The Raindogs. And Koen discovers that a very bizarre record was broken in Purmerend in the past…
