‘Tierra amarga’, the star afternoon series on A-3 TV, is coming to an end. This Turkish soap opera has been the great executioner of Tele 5. It premiered in July 2021, and surprising everyone, it unseated the ‘Sálvame Limón, Naranja, Tomate…’ that ‘tutti frutti’ that seemed unbeatable.
Originally structured in 141 chapters, this series has been divided into A-3, reaching more than 400 installments. It takes place in the fertile region of Çukurova, province of Adana, a town in southern Anatolia that has sadly been in the news these days due to the terrible earthquake. It is difficult to understand how a rural Turkish soap opera, so simple many times, has been able to ‘hook’ such an audience. In his primary style, the bad guys are very bad, the good guys are very good, and within the tragedy they always embed humorous scenes, such as farces or comic toys, in a corny, agricultural and cave key.

In this heat of ‘Kebabs’ and ‘Borek’ cake, Tele 5 loses weight because they don’t eat a donut.
