• The head of the Gamaleya Center, Alexander Gintsburg, said that he was infected with the omicron strain of the coronavirus. According to him, antibodies to “omicron” were detected in him after a trip abroad. However, he never experienced symptoms of COVID-19: according to Gunzburg, this is due to the action of Sputnik V.

• Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed to assess the readiness of medical organizations to spread the omicron strain.
