The shadowy trade in European spy software

Activists, dissidents and journalists worldwide fear the Predator spy software, which can be installed on phones unnoticed. This software is made in Europe, but cannot simply be sold to authoritarian regimes. Yet that happens, says editor Wilmer Heck. Together with Marloes de Koning, he investigated how this is possible and what interests European countries have in this.
