The NHL has given the New Jersey Devils a forward To Tomáš Tatar A $5,000 penalty for a hit on the Carolina Hurricanes’ Finnish forward in Sunday’s game Sebastian Ahoon.
Slovakian Tatar hit Aho dangerously in the head and neck with his bat in the opening set of the match. Aho was not injured in the situation and was able to play until the end of the match.
In the game situation, Tatar was sentenced to a two-minute suspension for a high stick, during which New Jersey admittedly scored an underpowered goal.

$5,000 is the largest fine in the NHL. After this, the penalty scale increases to suspension.
