The self-proclaimed climate activists are glued to the highways every day. And partly with standard superglue! Is this really supposed to last?

Berlin police and activists say yes! The Paris police claim the opposite. I’m taking the self-test at Tempelhofer Feld.

Like the climate glue, I drip two small tubes of Uhu superglue onto my fingertips. Then I press them firmly to the asphalt.

In fact: After only five minutes, my hand is firmly glued to the asphalt! Pulling it off quickly would really hurt. But the police don’t have to come to my house: We brought sunflower oil and nail polish remover containing acetone with us.

Free at last! After five minutes of soaking, the hand comes off again

With a lot of oil, the fingertips can be slowly loosened after five minutes… but even that is not entirely painless. All the worsemer that even children are glued to Berlin’s autobahns!
