Criminalists of the central office of the ICR, on behalf of the head of the department Alexander Bastrykin, joined the search for the former Deputy Minister of Justice Vladimir Yalunin, who disappeared in the Moscow region.
“The Main Directorate of Criminalistics is armed with high-tech equipment that allows searching for missing people in the most difficult conditions,” the Investigative Committee said in a statement.
Vladimir Yalunin disappeared on the night from Saturday to Sunday in the Odintsovo district after he left to ride an ATV. During the search, traces of the vehicle leading to the river were found. There was a break in the ice of the river, under which, at the bottom, a quad bike was found.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
