Musician Olavi Uusivirta admits that he is passionate about saunas. In Friday’s episode of Suomi Soi, he reveals that he likes to hang out on the rafts for several hours at a time.
– I don’t really consider a sauna shift of less than three hours a sauna shift. There isn’t always time for that.
– Sometimes it may have happened that I have been on the boards of the sauna when our drummer Ollie has already started the first song of the gig.
Uusivirta tells about another occasion:
– I was in the sauna room and I heard from a distance… No god, did it start now, and then all of a sudden out, terrible sweat, on stage all red and old, Uusivirta laughs.
Jonna Tervomaa is excited by what she hears:
– I want to start living like that!
– I don’t live like that anymore, Jonna is ashamed of me. It embarrasses me now, I’m much more professional these days, Uusivirta acknowledges.
