The Sashuis a new base for Handmade in Bruges

With the Sashuis, Handmade in Bruges now also has its own place where makers, creative entrepreneurs, young starters and visitors can meet.

In addition to space for exhibitions, workshops and lectures, there is also a shop with craft products and packages. Visitors can pick up a free Handmade in Bruges city guide and explore for themselves. The Sashuis also forms the starting point for a mapped out walking route that introduces you to the former, historical craftsmanship and the many makers who are now active in the city via an app.

Grand opening

Thanks to Handmade in Brugge, city dwellers and visitors have been able to get acquainted with the rich Bruges craft past for more than ten years, but also with the creative artisan entrepreneurship of today.

On Saturday 12 November, the general public can come and discover the Sashuis during the festive opening. After that, the Sashuis will be open and free to visit four days a week.
