For most Russians, in the event of a loss of income, their accumulated funds will be enough for a maximum of three months. More than half of the survey participants said they were able to save less than 100 thousand rubles.

More than 79% of Russians have savings for a rainy day, but most of them will be able to live using a financial cushion for no more than three months. As a result of the study (RBC has it), experts from the Rosgosstrakh Zhizn insurance company and Otkritie Bank, together with the A2 research center, came to this conclusion as a result of the study.
Last year, no more than half of the respondents declared that they had savings.
How much did the survey participants save?
- up to 100 thousand rubles — 58.5%;
- 100–300 thousand rubles — 38%;
- 300 thousand – 1 million rubles. — 2%;
- over 1 million rubles – 1.5%.
The majority of respondents (62%) reported that in the event of a loss of income, they could live on savings for no more than three months, 19% – for 3-6 months, 15% – 6-12 months, and 2% – from one year to three years and the same – more than three years.
