SuperJob: the Russians refused to extend the holiday on February 23 at the expense of vacation or time off

73% of respondents refused to extend the rest on the occasion of the Defender of the Fatherland Day due to vacation or time off, follows from the SuperJob study. Only 6% are planning a longer holiday

The majority of Russians (73%) said that they would not extend their vacation on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day on February 23, adding a vacation to the day off or taking a day off, follows from the data of a survey conducted by the SuperJob job search service (available to RBC). Only 6% of those surveyed are planning a longer vacation.

9% reported that they had not made a decision about February 23rd. Another 12% work in shifts.

Among those who answered in the negative to the question about plans to take additional days off, there are more citizens aged 45 and older, and among those who answered in the affirmative, there are more respondents under the age of 34.

Last year, the number of those who refused to extend the rest on February 23 was 69%, and those who expected to rest longer – 8% (then, thanks to the postponement of the holidays, there were three days off in a row).

The number of corporate events on February 23 and March 8 will increase by 1.5 times
