Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation presented Representative of the Office of the Defense Attaché at the US Embassy in Moscow note in connection with the violation of the territorial waters of Russia by an American submarine. Her actions are regarded as a gross violation of international law.
“The provocative actions of the US Navy ship created a threat to the national security of the Russian Federation,” the Russian military department stressed.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation demanded that the United States take measures to exclude such situations in the future.
The American military attache was also warned that the Russian side reserves the right to take all possible measures in its territorial waters to ensure the country’s security, writes RIA News.
