The Russian chess master wrote straight words about Putin – “Putin doesn’t have the slightest idea”

Garry Kasparov is known not only for his chess championships but also for his political career. PDO

Russian chess master Garry Kasparov fired direct words about Russian President Vladimir Putin on Twitter. The former world chess champion posted Twitter thread About Putin on Wednesday.

– Everyone lies to each other in a dictatorship, and the dictator lies the most. The drive for personal power and survival demands it. Putin does not have the slightest idea what is happening on the Ukrainian battlefield every day. Everyone who lies to Putin about the situation is being lied to by their subordinates, Kasparov writes.

Kasparov, who won the world chess championships in the 1980s and 1990s, has been an opponent of Putin and an opposition politician in Russia for a long time. The former chess champion is currently living in exile.

Kasparov says in a tweet chain that the honesty and objectivity of Ukrainians is an important part of good military skills. According to the chess master, Ukraine will win the war because they have something worth fighting for, such as their country, their freedom, and their lives.

“We need a new flag, and Russia”

According to Kasparov, Russian military forces fear each other, and their superiors all the way up to Putin. The chess master reminds that he represented Russia in the Games, but does not want to represent it anymore.

– I represented my country for years, and I also won gold medals. I insisted then that I could play in the World Cup under the new Russian flag, and not under the Soviet Union. Today, the flag represents terror and war. We need a new flag and a new Russia, Kasparov writes.

Kasparov has been called a traitor by Kremlin supporters. However, the chess master has a different view of who is the traitor.

– Russians who do not support Ukraine and its victory are real traitors. They have abandoned morals and human dignity. They have forgotten the hope of Russia as a civilized nation, so that it can be a zombie state, under the mafia and China, Kasparov writes.
