The group draws of the European Volleyball Championship, the most prestigious organization of European volleyball at the level of national teams, took place at the Royal Palace in Naples, Italy.
Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation, also participated in the draw.
Our National Women’s Volleyball Team took place in Group C at the end of the draw. In the group stage, our nationals will compete against the host Germany, as well as Azerbaijan, Czechia, Sweden and Greece. The Sultans of the Net will play their group matches in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The 2023 Women’s European Volleyball Championship will be held between 15 August and 3 September 2023, hosted by Belgium, Germany, Italy and Estonia.
The groups formed after the draw are as follows:
Group A: Belgium, Slovenia, Serbia, Poland, Ukraine, Hungary
Group B: Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland
Group C: Germany, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Czechia, Sweden, Greece
Group D: Estonia, Finland, Netherlands, France, Slovakia, Spain
Our A National Men’s Volleyball Team will be in Group D in the 2023 European Volleyball Championship. In the group stage, our nationals will compete against the host Israel, as well as Romania, France, Portugal and Greece. Net’s Efeleri will play their group matches in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The 2023 CEV Men’s European Volleyball Championship will be held on 28 August-16 September 2023, hosted by Italy, North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Israel.

Group A: Italy, Switzerland, Serbia, Germany, Belgium, Estonia
Group B: Bulgaria, Finland, Slovenia, Ukraine, Croatia, Spain
Group C: North Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Netherlands, Czechia, Denmark
