The return of Yamal, Haaland and Vinicius as phenomena: the best of the week

This week the spotlight was on the challenges at the top, which did not disappoint expectations. However, football is not just about victories, but also about many stories that need to be told. This is why we open our top 11 with Marcel Schuhen, Darmstadt goalkeeper, who at 31 has finally reached his first season in the Bundesliga. In defence, however, we go with our safeties: William Saliba, author of the goal that started Arsenal’s goleada, and Inter player Francesco Acerbi, protagonist in the match at the Olimpico. We shielded the department with goals from Theo Hernandez and Josip Stanišić, who opened (and closed) the two big matches against Napoli and Bayern Munich. The lucky one who will be able to benefit from their crosses is Erling Haaland, who returns to scoring after more than two months of abstinence and takes back the top of the scoring charts.
