In the Saturday round of the SM league, we saw two play-by-play games. Raumalla Lukko trained TPS with a tennis score of 6–0.
For Tepsi, the day was like a roller coaster, because yesterday Jussi Ahokkan protégés beat Äss 7–2.
The team from Pori, which started the season with two losses, was able to get into their game on Saturday and the result was a 5-0 defeat of JYP on their home field. The team’s first two goals were the starting pace for Pada’s return Feetu Knihti.
The top match of the round was the meeting between Kärppie and Tappara in Oulu. In the 3–0 win, Kärppi’s power man became the 1+1 power grab Marko Anttila. The lion hero got an assist Arttu Hyryn to a 2–0 goal and slipped the home team’s third into the empty spaces himself.
The loss was the first of the season for Tappara.
Ilves, who started their season with three wins, continue to occupy the top spot in the SM league standings, which covered HIFK on Saturday.
