The renovated Amandine will open its doors in spring 2024

In the museum the story of Ostend fishing will come to life, with extra attention to Icelandic fishing. Coordinator of the scenography in the museum is Ineke Steevens. She is responsible for the content of the interactive wall and the digital reception. Her expertise will help create an engaging and informative space. Visitors will soon be able to see an interplay between the rich history and the future of fishing.

The total costs for the entire project, including furniture, electrical work, painting and multimedia installations, amount to almost 240,000 euros. The museum ship will be opened to the public again in the spring of 2024.
