The remainder of the Premier League match between AZ and NEC, which was suspended on Sunday, will be played in Alkmaar on December 6 at 7 p.m. The public is allowed at the match.
The match was stopped after NEC striker Bas Dost collapsed without a ball nearby and remained unconscious on the field. Dost was treated by the medical staff of both teams, with players from both AZ and NEC forming a circle to shield him.
The attacker regained consciousness when he left the field on a stretcher and was taken to hospital. Earlier in the week, Dost reported, pending investigation results, that he was doing well “under the circumstances”.
