Dance, a lot of shine, glitter and the most urban aesthetics have flooded the Forum Park Barcelona this Saturday, July 22. Reggaeton lovers have enjoyed another year of the event that brings together the most important stars of the genre. He Reggaeton Beach Festival has opened the doors of his Fifth edition in the Catalan capital at noon and thousands of young people have enjoyed the first day of their favorite artists. Until 60,000 peoplemainly between 18 and 35 years old, have come together to listen to the music of singers such as Anuel AA, Jhay Cortez and Bryant Myers.
The heat has not been an impediment. After spending hours standing in a long line in the sun, the first attendees entered the space around four in the afternoon. The most anticipated part of the event has begun with the Chilean rapper Polyma Westcoast. The public has chanted his song ‘Ultra Solo’ While entering the venue, he had just recharged his ‘cashless’ wristbands and was waiting to order the first drinks.

One of the most anticipated artists of the afternoon has been Jhay Cortez. The Puerto Rican had people waiting early in the morning in the row closest to the stage to see him. Although he has not removed his cap, he has taken advantage of the high temperatures to get rid of his shirt. Through his repertoire there have been songs as popular as ‘Dakiti’, ‘Dry Law’ and his recent ‘Mami Chula’ with the canary Quevedo. The interpreter has won over the Barcelona public and has tried to erase lovesickness from the minds of his followers. “If you have someone you want to erase from your life, now is the time”, he has shouted to make way for his popular ‘Memories‘.
Jhayco wanted to take a moment to interpret his particular Tribute to ‘Dile’ by Don Omar. “I’ve been a fan of reggaeton since I can remember. I always like to do it with respect,” he said in honor of the veteran of the genre. After reviewing other mythical ones such as ‘He doesn’t know me’, ‘Fiel’ and ‘911’, the artist has said goodbye to the Catalan public with ‘Tarot‘, their collaboration on the Bad Bunny album. “Thanks to everyone who supports my music, all my projects and my ideas. The first time I came to Europe for a big festival was here and look at everything we’ve done.”
