C More subscribers were disappointed with the new MTV Katsomo.

The renewed MTV Katsomo streaming service is causing anger among Finnish sports fans.
C More, which used to show sports broadcasts, merged with MTV Katsomo on Tuesday.
MTV announced on X (formerly Twitter) that in the new Katsomo service, you can only watch the same sports broadcast on one device at a time, unlike C More. At the same time, the price of the service increases.
MTV’s sports broadcasts were previously shown with a C More Sport subscription for a monthly price of 29.95 euros and with a C More Total+ subscription for a price of 37.95 euros.
In the future, the monthly price of the sports package in MTV Katsomo is 36.95 euros and without ads 42.95 euros.
Viaplay also made similar changes to its service earlier this year. A large number of subscribers disappeared.
For example, users of C More, which shows the SM League, the Champions League and the World Rally Championship, were relieved by the reform.
– Farsi, keep your jacks too. Everyone is so damn greedy these days, one commenter wrote to MTV on X.
– Now the order has run out, the other threatened.
– C Less Sport, a third joked, referring to the old C More service.
MTV emphasizes that two devices can still watch different content at the same time, but not the same content.
MTV Oy’s business is currently loss-making. In the autumn, the company carried out change negotiations, as a result of which the personnel was reduced by 23.5 people.
