Rednex singer Anders Sandberg has died at the age of 55.

Anders Sandbergstage name Dagger, has died at the age of 55.
Rednex made their breakthrough in 1994 with their hit Cotton Eye Joe. Dagger joined the band in 2001. He left the band six years later.
Dagger returned to Rednex in 2009 and was a part of Rednex until his death.
– Our Rednex family is no longer the same. You will be so missed. This is one of the saddest days in our history. Dagger, we love you, the band wrote on Facebook and on Instagram.
The members of Rednex have changed over the years.
The band is still actively touring, it is a particularly popular performer at ysärifestivale.
