Miami (AP) – At the premiere in Miami, a US racetrack will host a Formula 1 Grand Prix for the 72nd time.
By far the most races in the premier class have been held in Italy so far. In addition to the 71 appearances in Monza, the racing series also made 30 guest appearances in Imola and once each in Pescara and Mugello.
Since, in addition to Miami, Austin and, in 2023, Las Vegas will also host World Championship races in Formula 1, the United States is likely to move up in these statistics in the future. Miami is already the eleventh venue for Formula 1 in the USA – no other country has driven on more different tracks. According to the world association, the Miami International Circuit is the 76th route on which a World Championship race is started.
