wand Will Rock You is a musical conceived by Queen and written by Ben Elton. The show stages the greatest hits of all time, played live by a formidable band and interpreted by an exceptional cast.
After the Florentine stage (until April 23, at the Teatro Verdi) the tour continues in Reggio Emilia.
The musical is set in the future 300 years from nowin a place once called “Earth” and now become “Planet Mall”, a victim of total globalization. A planet where rock and live music are banned and their followers live in hiding.
Global Soft, led by the ruthless Killer Queen (Natascia Fonzetti) and her collaborator Khashoggi (Salvo Bruno), tries to track down the “resistance” of a group of Bohemians who hide underground and who, with the help of the extravagant Pop librarian (Massimiliano Colonna), pass on faded memories of the glorious time when rock reigned supreme on earth.
They await the arrival of the elect who will return music to the planet, the naive Galileo (Damiano Borgi) and the strong-willed Scaramouche (Martha Rossi), predestined to find the instrument that the ancient god of the guitar has hidden in a secret place. Directed by Michaela Berlini, live music.
