Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s autobiographical documentary has been caught in the middle of uproar and controversy already in its production phase. Now Netflix has decided to significantly delay the release of the sensational documentary made with a million dollar contract.
In the past, the Duke and Duchess argued with Netflix over whether they would be allowed to correct their statements when Queen Elizabeth passed away. However, the streaming service did not agree to this, although a little editing may still be done.
On Netflix’s part, it has been decided to move the release of the sensational documentary from December of this year to well into next year. The reason is the back pack of the streaming service in the production of royal series.
The popular series The Crown produced by Netflix has already caused a stir in its latest season, even though its episodes will not be shown for the first time until November.
The series has already been accused of portraying King Charles in a damaging light. According to criticism and accusations, in the fifth season, Charles is portrayed as a scheming person whose purpose is to oust his own mother, i.e. Queen Elizabeth, from power.
The latest season also deals with the life stages of Charles and Princess Diana and especially their relationship on the verge of divorce before the tragic accident. The patterns also feature the current queen consort Camilla, whose character has been dramatized.
