The public prosecutor’s office is annoyed by guests of the minister who urinate against combi, RIHO is conducting the investigation
That is standard procedure when the police themselves are involved. The incident dates from ten days ago. Three guests at the party are said to have urinated on a police vehicle in the street. That has been there as a deterrent since the threats against the minister. Police are conducting a libel investigation. Van Quickenborne himself says that he has not seen anything, but disapproves of the behavior.
Tom Janssens, spokesperson for the public prosecutor’s office: “We have camera images. Those people will be identified and interrogated. We are all annoyed. This is not good for our minister, not good for our prime minister, not good for our police and not good for us. We We also have other things to do than deal with urinating in public.”
