In recent months, the PSC has prepared a thorough report in which it detects up to 122 “possible breaches” by the ERC and JxCat Government with respect to its own roadmap. These shortcomings affect all areas, but they are especially important in matters such as Security, Good Governance, Justice or Equality.
“The evaluation is negative in general, since the breaches are important, and in particular the legislative initiative of the Government, and its planning, is very deficient,” affirms the number two of the Catalan Socialists, Alícia Romero. She gives as an example that she is Catalan Security Plan pendingwhich is required by law, or the lack of a Social Shock Plan.
The 44-page document, to which EL PERIÓDICO has had access, is dedicated to breaking down the government plan and detects two possible types of breaches by ERC and Junts. On the one hand, the initiatives foreseen in the plan of the Government whose calendar is not fulfilled in the 2021-2023 regulatory plan of the Government; for another, initiatives not included in the calendar foreseen in the normative plan.
Among the deficiencies, the socialists include elements as varied as the modifications of the laws of transparency, of equality between men and women or of prevention and extinction of fires; of a pact against school segregation; the expansion of the benefit for people in a situation of dependency; the instruments to protect landlords and owners against the occupation of dwellings; either business one-stop shop.

PSC group report
“It is a report that the parliamentary group has made when the Govern celebrates a year to follow up on its government action. It allows us to make better opposition with objective data, according to the commitments made by the Govern at the beginning of the legislature,” says Romero as to the nature of the document. The text has been prepared by the parliamentary group and the technical team that supports it, in line with the opposition promoted by Salvador Illa and which was also reflected in the creation of the Shadow Government at the beginning of the legislature.
