The provisional administrator of the NV KVO Oostende is the Ostend lawyer Werner Van Oosterwyck. His appointment can be seen as a positive démarche by the Enterprise Court to try to continue the economic and financial activities of NV KVO Oostende.
“Van Oosterwyck will thoroughly investigate the options available to allow the company to continue operating after the former board, about which many had many questions,” the administrator said in a press release.
“The focus is currently on collecting relevant information so that the court can be adequately informed about the state of affairs. Mr. Van Oosterwyck will commit himself to representing the interests of NV KVO Oostende and trying to find constructive solutions for a sustainable continuation of the activities.”
This does not mean that bankruptcy is necessarily in the air. However, the previous owner – Paul Conway – and the previous board can no longer conduct transactions while the provisional administrator is in charge.
